Application deadline around the corner!

The deadline for applications to the Global Health Delivery Summer Case Writer positions is this Thursday, January 31, 2008.The Harvard Business School (HBS) Case Method is a powerful tool that forces students to grapple with complex decisions and dilemmas by creating a classroom in which students succeed not by simply absorbing facts and theories, but also by exercising the skills of leadership and teamwork in the face of real problems.

In the summer of 2007, GHD engaged a small team of graduate students to produce HBS-style cases and teaching notes about global health topics for future course offerings. These students were provided with funding support, training on the case method and case production, and were assigned a single case topic. In some cases, writers traveled to international sites to conduct research for their assignments.

If you are interested in participating in this year’s GHD Summer Case Writing Initiative, we encourage you to apply. Please forward completed application and supporting materials to: GHDcasewriting@gmail.com.
