New Harvard Global Health Effectiveness Program, July 2009

Dear All,

I’m delighted to announce the new Harvard Global Health Effectiveness Program which will train public health leaders through a curriculum of epidemiology, management science and global health delivery case teaching, enabling them to effectively design and manage programs that improve health outcomes for the populations they serve.

This three-and-a-half week program is sponsored by the Harvard School of Public Health and Harvard Medical School, under the direction of Harvard faculty on the staff of Brigham and Women’s Hospital. This is one of the many programs developed by the GHD (check our GHD Studies page for more information).

Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to global health and experience in global health organizations, with a background in health care or a related field, and international students are encouraged to apply.

The deadline to apply is April 1, 2009, so if you’re interested or know someone who could be, visit this page for details and application form and forward this post! Thank you.
