The last few weeks here at GHD have been hectic, as we–along with the Division of Global Health Equity–have moved offices here in Boston.  As with any move, the process provides opportunity to reflect on the past as well as “clean house”, throwing out the items we’ve kept for the last few years but haven’t touched since carefully filing away.  We’ll miss our space at 1639 Tremont St, but are already energized by starting fresh in a new office.

Speaking of refreshing changes, expect some big changes later this year to the “look and feel” of the GHDonline.org website.  For the past 9 months, we have been working on refining the way members interact with their communities and making the site faster and easier to use.  Members who receive the GHDonline newsletter know that we have been offering previews of the new design, welcoming feedback — please feel free to contact us if you’re interested.  We will be posting further updates to the blog, as well.

The GHDonline team is hiring! We are looking for an additional Boston-based online community manager to join our team. Here’s what we’re looking for in a candidate:

The GHDonline Community Manager works with community moderators, community members, and their colleagues in the GHDonline team to increase activity in and awareness of the communities for which they are responsible. A collaborative, creative, and dedicated/highly-motivated member of the team, the Community Manager takes the lead on promoting/facilitating collaboration within the communities.
