The GHD Research Team is developing a series of case studies that investigate the interactions between Global Health Initiatives and Health Systems, and is recruiting two Research Assistants (RA) to support this project.

RAs will be part of the Global Health Delivery Project and gain exposure to a broad range of health, management, social justice and other issues. With an expected start date in September 2009, RAs will work both independently and in collaboration with faculty members to conduct literature reviews and background research; develop annotated bibliographies; help with the organization and analysis of research data; code qualitative interview data; assist in writing and editing research reports and articles; and prepare materials for meetings and conferences.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS, an outstanding academic record; excellent writing, research, analysis, communication, and organizational skills. Flexibility is essential, as is the desire to work for a dynamic, mission-driven organization. Fluency in a second language and/or experience with qualitative research methods is preferred.
