GHDonline
GHDonline is the open collaboration platform developed by the GHD Project where professionals from around the world engage in real-time problem-solving, connect with peers, and share information resources they need in order to improve health outcomes in resource-limited settings.
“We as architects are happy to listen in and get an insight on the subject matter and be able to relate with our area of expertise. Again, thanks to your discussions we are able to understand the seriousness of the issues.” Gobe Gaotlolwe, Architect, Ministry of Health, Botswana, October 2008
“GHDonline is the closest thing I have seen yet to a working group with the range and ability to create/refine a standard and develop a universal tool.” Om Goeckermann, Freelance, U.S.A., June 2009
Six public communities focused on specific global health challenges, and more than 20 private communities for international organizations and projects, are currently hosted on GHDonline. Each community is stewarded by expert moderators and offers a dedicated Knowledge Base accessible via Moderators’ Topics and a powerful search engine. GHDonline also supports multiple languages, and has an integrated Google translation tool (currently providing French and Spanish versions).
As of January 26, 2010, 2,400+ professionals representing 860+ organizations from 120 countries are collaborating in GHDonline.org.
