What marked us in 2010 and looking ahead to 2011

During this time of reflection, we remind ourselves of the progress made and challenges ahead to break the implementation bottleneck in global health delivery. We also want to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters, collaborators, partners, and all the moderators of GHDonline communities as well as thousands of global health implementers who exchange knowledge and experience to improve the delivery of health care. Because of them, we are able to forge ahead in our mission to improve health among disadvantaged populations worldwide by systematizing the study of global health delivery and rapidly disseminating knowledge to practitioners through a range of coordinated initiatives. Healthy New Year to all!

Global Health Effectiveness Program Summer 2011: Apply now!

Entering its third year, the Global Health Effectiveness Program trains public health leaders and health practitioners through a curriculum of epidemiology, management science and global health delivery case studies, enabling them to effectively design and manage programs that improve health outcomes for the populations they serve.

GHE is a 3-week program (July 6-29, 2011) consisting of two credit-granting courses and one seminar taught by senior Harvard University faculty: Epidemiologic Methods for Global Health; Seminar on Principles of Management in Global Health; Studies in Global Health Care Delivery.
