Effective nursing is the backbone of a high quality health care delivery system. GHDonline’s nursing community will discuss how ongoing mentoring and training programs can enhance nursing in an expert panel discussion September 19-23. Participants also will discuss the nurse’s role in quality improvement efforts.
Manzi Anatole, Rwandan nurse working a rural primary clinic with Partners In Health, will start the discussion by describing his efforts and challenges in developing a mentoring program to strengthen the quality of nursing care at rural health centers. Next, several experts in nurse training and quality improvement will share their insights. As with all GHDonline panel discussions, we hope the entire community chimes in with questions, comments and descriptions of their efforts in this area.
